Each lunchtime I walk passed the assembled ‘Food delivery drivers’ mainly on their scooters. I always thought they were happy in their ‘to-ing and fro-ing’ until today. Today they were on strike.

I stopped for a short time and listened to their concerns. One driver told me ( paraphrased),

“I can pick up an order from McDonald's worth £3:50 am I will get 50p even if I have to wait for the order to be ready.”

I was impressed that they had organised themselves regardless of platform.
