“Who do they say I am?”

So they are in the front room. Yer man and his homies. Perhaps they had a barbeque or a lunch and now are just passing the time. He asks, “So who do they say I am?”

They give their answers and then you find yourself in the room and it is your turn to answer.

I hesitate. A few years ago I may have given the expected answer now I want it to be based on my experience.

“You were the first person that I knew loved me. I am not sure how I felt that as I was hearing it from other people “Jesus loves you”. That song “Jesus loves me” went deep into me and stayed.

50 years on and it still sings in my soul. So you are love in human form. A love that is central to who I am”
