Shopping has become a means of doing something together for T & I. I mentioned previously that she is like a cat finding her way home.

I enjoy her when she is here so I need to be quick to respond when she says, “Do you want to go to Sainbury’s?”

‘Going to Sainbury’s’ has replaced the ‘Going to the Odyssey’ or ‘Going to the Waffle House’.

Do you think it is not so much ‘the thing’, ‘the activity’ but rather the interaction it creates?

Playing chess, rugby, golf are all activities to create an interaction although some less verbal than others. I like ‘Going for coffee’. I like coffee but it is much more than coffee it is the interaction with the other that really matters.

Best day,
