We have the power to lift up or pull-down

I was reminded that as we struggle with life (actually it is more often people and ourselves than life) and particularly the times when the burden become great and our knees become low that we are not alone.

For as much as we are going through whatever, others are thinking of us even if unaware of our situation.

I switched on my phone and the first message was a thank you. Initially, I thought it was from where I was hoping it would be from but it wasn’t it was from someone who was not required to even text me. Yet they did and their text was enough to strengthen me. They didn't know how I was feeling but they did know that I had given of myself and although I don’t expect a ‘thank you’ to be acknowledged by the other had the power to lift me up.

May we always be mindful that our words and action can have the power to lift people up or attempt to pull them down.

Best day,
