Walking from London to Glasgow all because of COP26

Photo by Gian-Reto Tarnutzer on Unsplash

I got a call from a friend as he was walking through the village. I agreed to meet him near a pub on his route. He was testing himself as he prepares for the ‘Camino de Cop’.

This Sunday 5th September 2021 a group of people will set off from Parliament Square, London and over 58 days walk to Glasgow. They plan to arrive on the eve of COP26.

In a bid to encourage him and publicise the event I asked him to tell his story about why he is taking two months of his time to walk to Glasgow.
