I read James Altucher article yesterday, ‘The Science of Happiness’
and decided to try it out today. The idea to be grateful for 3 things in my day was my hook. I thought it would be good to do it at 3 in the afternoon, half way through the day though as it happens 2 suited me better.

I awoke
I got up
I saw my daughter
I ate breakfast
I dressed
I had clean clothes, socks, pants, trousers, vest, shirt, jumper
I had water
I had warm water to shower in
I had toothpaste to brush my teeth
I had shower gel to wash with
Then I had to go. I was grateful that I had written so many things to be grateful for and all before I got out of the bathroom.
