Just off Jaffa Street, Jerusalem is HaRavv Kuk Street. If you walk up it, you will see a sign for Rav Kook House. If like me you mistook the Yeshiva for the House no doubt you will find a student who is happy to direct you next door.

Rabbi Kook was the chief Rabbi of Palestine before the establishment of Israel.

On the back cover of the book ‘Abraham Isaac Kook’ printed as part of ‘The Classics of Western Spirituality’ it reads,

“Rabbi Kook represents the most significant renewal of the Jewish mystical tradition in modern time”
