An Elijah Interfaith Summer School special

It was the first Thursday in August but our last gathering as a Summer school. We had moved to the Hartman Institute. We sat around the table in the courtyard and shared our thoughts with those who had gathered on Zoom for the monthly session of ‘Praying Together in Jerusalem’.

It was a beautiful end to the Summer school.

My thoughts on prayer are below. Below that you will find a recording of the event in which you will hear all the participants and their thoughts on prayer.

Prayer is our lives

what we hear others say,

what we read,

what we think,

anything that

raises us up to a divine level

awakens us to teh divine

anything that says, “God is here”
