Please make your way to day 154 / gjphotos

How is it one day you wake up like yesterday morning and you feel energised? I still had my dream in my head when I awoke. It was a triangular building not unlike a church but with desks inside rather than pews. There was lots of glass letting in light and white was the primary colour of the decor.

I think the dream was influenced by lots of reading, writing and watching youtube videos on the purpose of life. I often say and indeed I said to a visitor at the meeting house this morning, “I see religious communities as schools where we learn and if required move on”. The visitor had a past critical voice telling her that she shouldn’t visit different churches. I boldly told her please do not feel you need to apologise I have been through at least 13 religious communities since I was a kid.

Getting back to my original thought so how is it that we can be so energised with life upon awakening and yet as the day progresses our battery is in need of recharging? I am thinking more low in spirit than energy.

This morning I awoke and struggled to get into life and out of my dreams, I was still feeling low. I continue to write as I want to capture all of life and yesterday’s story probably reflects the low. Didn’t you notice no video?

Feelings are very powerful so why be surprised when the feelings are of sadness? It is much easier to go with powerful positive energising feelings though as said, “Why only go with easy?”

I mentioned it to a friend in conversation this morning and her response was, “Don’t you think we sense the turning of the year?” It is true I have always been much more influenced by the start of the school year than the New Year, actually they influence me in different ways.

The old scripture verse comes to mind, “Too late, too late shall be the cry the harvest is over and they are not yet saved.” There is a sense of ending with the summer and perhaps I am not ready to leave it yet the day moves me on. Perhaps I want to leave things as they are but life tells me we must move on there may be difficulties ahead but with them will come growth and new vistas.
