I mentioned yesterday evening that I should be in Newcastle upon Tyne for the next couple of days. I had a hesitancy as somewhere in my brain there were other thoughts were questioning whether I would get up on time, get the bus on time, get the train to Kings Cross on time and then the train to Newcastle on time. Joining them were other thoughts about regardless of whether I was on time would the buses and trains be running on time!

Thankfully somewhere else there is something ( I am not sure whether they are thoughts) that gets me to book trains, the hotel and register for the conference. It must be the part of me that thrives off faith, the belief that “If we don’t do we won’t do.”

I do wonder why parts of my brain generate unnecessary concern about the smallest of things and why I pay attention? That said I am familiar with this pattern and somehow carry on regardless. Well not totally regardless otherwise I wouldn't be writing about it.

And now I am here and those doubting thoughts seem not to be!
