You know that FB post that appears every so often? It goes something like this, “I want to see which of my friends actually read my posts so if you have read it let me know by saying how we met” Well I decided to do it from the other direction so find yourself here. If you wish give yourself your number.

  1. You zoomed into my life in 2020, we have never met in person yet you have become one of my band of encouragers, you have a cat called Little-Bear

2. You also zoomed into my life in 2020, we never met until last Summer and I with others was your guest at your home for a Shabbat meal

3. You were my year at school, well when we got to Clounagh, we got to know each other better since that Reunion than we did at school

4. I was your tour guide in 1989 and amongst the many we connected and through Facebook we reconnected

5. I know you through the one you married and now once a year we gather at your place

6. I met you in Jerusalem last summer and just loved your Brooklyn accent and your ways

7. You didn't invite me to your wedding but did the reception and now you can’t get rid of me. You hosted a tea party for me once which I will never forget

8. I heard you and was impressed, we had a chat and here we are

9. I first met you through another 29 years ago and would not have known how we would become friends

10. It was at the College I met you but Armagh Tech where our kindred spirits were tied

11. I knew you at the College but you were shy then. I enjoyed that spontaneous coffee with you and the dog the last time I was home

12. I met you through a Napo branch meeting, you had just returned from Wakefield

13. I met you at Armagh Elim, you are a twin and a great singer

14. I met you at FLH and you taught me a lot and were patient with it

15. I first recall you speaking at Napo NECs at Camden Town Hall. For a short time, you joined our branch

16. I met you through St Albans Quakers, a gentle, friendly spirit

17. I think we had our first telephone conversation when I was organising the petition to Parliament

18. Met you in Galway, you were a latecomer, and we shared many laughs

19. Met you in FLH and I am delighted that years later you are active in Napo

20. You were one of those popular older girls at school and yet years later you have become such a quiet encourager to me

21. We have never met other than on Zoom yet you are my sister of Zion

22. We have never met yet I call you the Chief Iman of Canada and you graciously laugh

23. We met through Christian Life Community (CLC) and we have continued meeting as companions for now 20 years

24. We met through the Christian Union at Hatfield we had many deep chats and you were an usher at our Wedding

25. I can’t not think of you and your wife as she is your face on the book! Again CU and Social Work. You are a Holy Duo.

26. It was Armagh Tech and you once invited me back to the orchard for tea and a church service for afters.

27. You lived on my Granny’s street but I didn't know you really until one night in the Faith Mission.

28. I first met you at a wedding and later you were my barber.

29. We also have never met not even on Zoom but our connection is through my interest a few years ago in Swedenborg

30. “Turn the page, a new chapter in our lives begins here tonight, lost in love” met you in College but only really got to know you through another at Portadown Elim. O, and I accompanied you to a wedding in Scotland.

31. Your quietness is your strength.

32. I knew you to sell in those days the ‘Socialist Worker’ and was it through the Peoples’ Assembly we met?

33. Do I remember you first when you gave a speech at the Houses of Parliament and I sat next to your husband?

34. Knew of you before I knew you as your family name was an institution in our town.

35. You are the youngest of 3 sisters whose da was a good mate of ‘my da’

36. Met you through City Church years ago, your laugh goes before you and your kindness.

37. We spent a couple of years as part of a group of lads while at Clounagh, we often got asked to join the Police activities for young people

38. I asked you to go to the first Christmas party at Clounagh and you said yes but I never did get a kiss.

40. We have never met but often Zoomed, I video-called you frequently from the rooftop overlooking Al Aqsa

41. You gave me so much time as a young boy, and early teen and made room for me in your family.

42. I met as you were just about to go on stage. I still remember talking one minute to you and the next watching you act.

43. During a season of strikes I met you as the organiser of a Luton Rally

44. I once walked with you up and down the Armagh Road.

45. You brought me a book about Nelson Mandela back from your native South Africa

46. Met you through Banbridge Christian Fellowship Church (CFC) although you were ‘exclusively’ from Belfast

47. You once gave me a lift to Luton Airport and you have the greatest of smiles

48. I attended an event at St Albans Cathedral at which you were an Interfaith speaker, I have been following you ever since

49. I knew you first via Zoom and then met in Jerusalem and later attended your book launch via Zoom

86. You went from Glasgow to Cornwall to Wales, that is all I know

97. You just about passed my security vetting after a number of calls

98. You chased me at the heel at school cross country, these days I leave you to climb mountains

99. You are another I met first at Napo NECs in Camden Town Hall, I won't forget that poem!

100. In chasing you down the street you took me into a new world

101. You typed up my ‘O Level’ technology project for a tenner and now you are a leading businesswoman!

103. I love how you are just upfront about everything including doing your hair no matter where or who is about!

110. I met you as a tutor, not mine, and then realised that you have the genealogy for the whole of the North of Ireland

111. You were at the Hart, and I once bumped into you on Oxford Street!

112. Known you since the Robins, your family adopted me until my teenage years, Sky’s your limit

113. Known you since memory kicked in. You were one of the Charl — S Park kids

114. Bumped into you in Jerusalem last summer and got lost on a walk together

115. I once landed at your house on a Saturday morning chauffeur driven by two Police officers, must have been the way they did things in those days, your dad was very accommodating

117. First heard you at a book reading at Oxfam and then you turned up at Friends

118. Met you at Armagh Tech, you have the same first name as one of my sisters

122. Now you are some character, I remember thinking I was meeting the Mayor when I was introduced to you. We ended up having many laughs.

129. I knew you from Corcrain and I invited you to a College Reunion online to which you showed up and then you told me you didn’t go to the College!

158. When you come to mind I think of that ‘James Bond moment’ when we were on the bridge. We had riot police coming from one side of the bridge and riot police from the other side of the bridge and we were the only two on the bridge! What did we do? Jumped!!
