A message from the snow people
“The coldness drives you to find warmth and so too with the coldness of people hearts, find warmth.”
I fought against it but I succumbed to the voice that said as I drove off this morning, “Fill up the tank.” If you are reading this outside the UK & Ireland the tank of which I speak is the petrol tank. I suddenly had a vision that readers elsewhere may have thought I had declared war on the ‘The Beast from the East’!
I got to where I was going and the voice said, “Take your boots with you just in case it snows.” I took the above photo too just in the event that the scene changed, it got dark but it only snowed lightly.
All day I with others have been peering out windows looking for evidence of ‘The Beast’. It didn’t show. It is cold and maybe we got some of the dust from its jacket.
I am puzzled why I am and it seems many others are preoccupied with this snow forecast. What is it I am seeking?
A friend told me recently that she feels so enlivened when the snow comes. It made me think that it is only when it snows that the snow people come and when they come they come with a message for us. What could that message be for you, for me?
“From nowhere we arrive and we stay only a short time. We come to give you that hope that you so desire. That all will be well for as we come so we also go. This is true when you are in a difficulty it comes often from nowhere though in time it melts and drains away. The secret is to remain warm-hearted even when the coldness of others affronts you. The coldness drives you to find warmth and so too with the coldness of people hearts, find warmth.”
